PASIG CITY — The Pasig City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) has announced an additional validation schedule for residents with Persons with Disabilities (PWD) IDs who are under 60 years old and whose IDs were issued but not yet validated.
The validation will take place from August 4 to 7, 2025, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., covering several barangays across the city.
PWDs from the barangays of Bagong Katipunan, Kapasigan, Malinao, Oranbo, Sagad, Santa Rosa, Santo Tomas, San Jose, San Nicolas, Sumilang, and Santa Cruz are instructed to proceed to the Pasig City PDAO, located at Tanghalang Pasigueño and the Temporary Pasig City Hall.
Residents from other barangays not mentioned above are advised to go to their respective Barangay PWD Offices or Help Desks for validation, depending on where they reside.
Even PWD IDs issued in 2025 require validation. Those who fail to undergo the process will be ineligible to receive the annual cash gift from the city government.
PWDs must bring a filled-out validation form, two photocopies of their PWD ID (each bearing three signatures or thumb marks), and a 2×2 photo.
If a representative will handle the validation, they must be an immediate family member and present additional documents, including an authorization letter, valid ID, a proof-of-life photo with the PWD, and, if applicable, a certificate of guardianship if the guardian is not a biological parent.
There will be no validation conducted on Saturdays moving forward.
For downloadable forms and a list of complete requirements, residents may visit the Pasig City PDAO Facebook page. Additional announcements for other barangays are expected to follow.
