The municipal government of Roxas in Oriental Mindoro on Thursday, August 28, 2025 held a Market Forum aimed at addressing key issues affecting vendors and consumers at the town’s public market.
The event, led by Market Administrator Peter Francis Alanes, brought together Vice Mayor Bong Quiatchon, councilors David Dela Cruz, Gualberto Magno and Pangga Bacay, along with other local officials and sector representatives.
Discussions centered on market cleanliness, stall organization, proper trading practices and other policies designed to improve order and services at the market.
Residents were able to raise questions and suggestions, which local officials responded to on the spot.
Organizers said the forum reflected the administration’s commitment to dialogue and collaboration for the community’s welfare.
